Coal, Oil & Gas! Scott Morrison’s favourite way to upset the working class. This pack is all about using those dinosaur filled minecarts and barrels to power your industry. Move your coal and oil with trains, or take our your anger with an ICBM loaded to the brim with U-235.
Our Favourite Mods
Coal, Oil & Gas has wide selection of mods to play around with. Surprisingly, it wasn’t hard to pick our top 3. They are just too good!
Immersive Engineering
Immersive Engineering, Immersive Technology and Immersive Petroleum. These are 3 of my favourite mods to configure and setup. Diesel generators, coal fired boilers and steam turbines, and steam punk styled architecture. There is nothing this series of mods doesn’t provide.
HBM Nuclear Tech
HBM Nuclear Tech mod is one of the most enjoyable nuclear orientated mods available. With large scale nuclear multiblock's that easily integrate with other mods, and missile systems that make the Cold War seem real again. It honestly is a blast to play with!
Immersive Railroading
Trains! Not much more can be said. These large-scale locomotives can do all your heavy lifting. Automate them to transport your resources, or setup a passenger line. They are just eye-candy to look at as they chug past.
Things to keep in mind!
Our ModPack and server have some pretty interesting features to keep an eye out for!
Power
You’re pretty limited on what you can use to produce power. Hence, the ModPack’s name. Coal, oil and gas will be your base power generators. Nuclear power from HBM’s Nuclear Tech mod will be the final goal. No solar, wind, or geothermal here!
Physics
The world is so much livelier with gravity! Trip, fall, it hurts. What also hurts is when a Creeper blows up the bottom story of your house, and the top story crumbles down. Building just got a whole lot harder!
Fire
Minecraft’s fire is a little underwhelming, luckily this has been fixed. A single click of a flint and steel is all you need to bring a wooden house to ashes. Pair that with gravity, the house will be reduced to a pile of whatever wasn’t burnable in minutes.
Railways
I like trains, you probably like trains too. We went the extra mile by installing Immersive Railroading. Featuring 3 Block wide gauge rails, and locomotive automation. Moving coal, oil or resources over long distances has never been done in such style!

Some Server Specs

Our Server is locally hosted in Western Australia. We are proud to support the Australian Minecraft Community with a fast, local, low latency server. Keeping the ping low means, you can’t winge when you fall into lava!
Our Cisco UCS C220 M3 is a bit on the old side. With initial release in 2013, she has seen better days. However, the dual 6 core & 12 thread Xeon’s are pushing her to a total of 12 cores/24 threads. Still a powerful number even today, with the Samsung SSD’s in RAID 1 creating a fast yet efficient storage system. This puppy won’t let us down! Plans to upgrade server capacity will depend on server utilisation.
Our server is connected to the world via a Gigabit NBN FTTP connection. Meaning the bottleneck of our ModPack server won’t be the network connection! Redundancy and Data Protection are key, our server is backed up with local and offsite backups daily. With in-game backups being performed every hour. If the server room is set ablaze, your inventory will be safe!
